Support for legacy Zen ports in the Olympus PT-EP08 Housing (OM-D EM-5 Camera)

Zen Underwater proudly announces support options for the Olympus PT-EP-08 underwater housing for the popular Olympus OM-D EM-5 interchangeable lens camera.

In a radical departure from prior Olympus M4/3 camera housings, Olympus changed the port mount for the PT-EP08 housing, implementing a rotating bayonet style latch, and eliminating the upgrade path for owners of prior PT-series housings fitted with Zen Underwater ports.

In order to provide customers an upgrade path from older PT-series housings and to protect their investment in Zen ports, Zen Underwater is now offering the PA-EP08-EP Adapter to allow use of the following ports with the PT-EP08 housing:

• WA-100-EP714 Pen Dome ($499) for the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm F4 ASPH
• WA-100 Pen Dome ($499) for the:
  • Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm f/3.5–f/5.6L
  • M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9–18mm f/4–f/5.6
• FP-100-EP Flat Port ($399) for the Panasonic Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm F2.8 Macro ASPH Mega OIS

The PA-EP08-EP Adapter will be available October 15, 2012. Retail price $100USD.

Zen Underwater DP-100-EP08 Dome Port

The DP-100-EP08 Dome Port is a 100mm dome port for the Panasonic Lumix G Fisheye 8mm f/3.5 lens, designed specifically for the PT-EP08 housing.

Zen Underwater pioneered the concept of small 100mm (4in.), high quality optical glass dome ports for fisheye lenses and the DP-100-EP08 continues that tradition offering unsurpassed optical quality for the Panasonic 8mm Fisheye lens.

The DP-100-EP08 will be available October 15, 2012. Retail Price: $799USD.
